There are several options for sharing a concern about sexual harassment or other sexual misconduct impacting a Harvard community member.

These options are not mutually exclusive, except as otherwise noted in our policies, such as with respect to an informal resolution. Options include:

- Sharing information and learning about resources through making a disclosure directly to College Title IX or through a responsible employee.
- Engaging in Harvard-specific processes to achieve a specific outcome impacting the other party, such as sanctions through a formal complaint or a mutually agreed upon informal resolution; or contacting law enforcement to report a potential violation of the laws or engage in related civil or criminal justice system processes.

#### **Make a Disclosure**

Make a disclosure directly to a Title IX Resource Coordinator or by utilizing the Office for Gender Equity's anonymous disclosure tool. [Learn how to make a disclosure](/make-disclosure?admin_panel=1).

#### **File a Formal Complaint**

File a formal complaint with the University Title IX Coordinator. [Learn about formal complaints](/formal-complaint).

#### **Request Informal Resolution**

Request informal resolution through a Title IX Resource Coordinator, the University Title IX Coordinator, or the Office for Dispute Resolution. [Learn how to request an informal resolution](/informal-resolution).

#### **Contact Law Enforcement**

Contact HUPD or local law enforcement to learn more about filing a police report, requesting a prevention order, and other safety options. [Learn about contacting law enforcement](/law-enforcement).

#### **Speak to a Responsible Employee**

Share information with a responsible employee, who will then connect you with a Title IX Resource Coordinator. [Learn more about responsible employees](/responsible-employees).
