eLearning Training Module
"Harvard University Policies and Resources: Non-Discrimination, Title IX Sexual Harassment, and Other Sexual Misconduct (Harvard College, 2025-26)"
At Harvard, we have a collective responsibility to strive to create an environment that is open, welcoming, and free from discrimination and other forms of misconduct. This eLearning module is designed to inform you about the University's Non-Discrimination Policy, Interim Title IX Sexual Harassment Policy, and Interim Other Sexual Misconduct Policy, as well as supportive resources and how each of us can play a role in preventing harm in our community.
To ensure students are well-informed, every Harvard student is required to complete an online eLearning module entitled, Harvard University Policies and Resources: Non-Discrimination, Title IX Sexual Harassment, and Other Sexual Harassment.
Key Points:
- Students will receive a link to this required eLearning module via email from the Harvard Training Portal on Monday, August 4, 2025.
- Students must complete the module by Monday, August 25, 2025. Students who do not complete the module by the deadline may face a hold that prevents them from adjusting courses during the open add/drop period and may impact their ability to register for Spring 2026 courses.
- This module should take 60 minutes to complete.
- If, due to personal experience, you prefer to engage with this material in a different way, please email csndr@harvard.edu to learn about alternative training options to you.

To access the eLearning module:
- The Harvard Training Portal will assign this module on August 4, 2025. You will receive an email with a link to launch the module at your Harvard College email address. Or, visit trainingportal.harvard.edu.
- Sign in using your HarvardKey.
- Click Me (top left of the screen).
- Under Learning & Certificates, find the course entitled Harvard University Policies and Resources: Non-Discrimination, Title IX Sexual Harassment, and Other Sexual Harassment (Harvard College, 2025-26).
- Click on the course title.
- Click Launch.
- Complete each activity in order to proceed to the next.
- You must complete all activities for the course to be marked complete.
- On the final slide, select Close Player.
Recommendations for a smooth experience:
- Complete the module as soon as possible.
- The module takes 60 minutes to complete; try to finish it in one session to avoid timing out.
- If you are in a public space, consider using headphones for privacy.
- For best performance, use a desktop or laptop (avoid tablets or mobile devices).
- Use Google Chrome as your browser.
- Some slides require interaction or waiting for audio/video to finish before continuing.

Support and Resources: Sexual Harassment & Other Sexual Misconduct
If you wish to seek support for to concerns related to sexual harassment or other sexual misconduct, you may access free and voluntary support through the confidential SHARE team, and/or privately explore information and options through the College Title IX Office.
- Sexual Harassment/Assault Resources & Education (SHARE) Counselors provide a range of confidential and privileged services to support individual and community healing from harm, including sexual harassment, sexual assault, stalking, abusive relationships, and discrimination on the basis of gender or sexual orientation. SHARE can be reached at CommunitySupport_SHARE@harvard.edu and their 24/7 confidential hotline at 617-495-9100.
- The College Title IX Office (C-TIX) can be a starting point for students who have been impacted in any way by sexual misconduct or gender-based harassment. Whether you have a concern or are just unsure, C-TIX Resource Coordinators are available to answer questions or share information with individuals of all identities and lived experiences. Information shared with C-TIX Resource Coordinators is treated with the utmost privacy and not automatically initiate a formal complaint or process. You can connect with a C-TIX Resource Coordinator if:
- You've personally experienced harm or feel uncomfortable about something that happened.
- You're supporting a friend or loved one who has been impacted.
- You want to talk through a hypothetical or uncertain situation.
- You're unsure if what happened to you or someone else was a violation.
- You're worried you may have crossed a boundary or caused harm and want to understand consent better.
- You're navigating a complex situation involving boundaries, relationships, or communication.
