Harvard's Interim Title IX Sexual Harassment Policy and Interim Other Sexual Misconduct Policy apply to incidents on or after August 14, 2020. Each policy provides an explanation of its jurisdiction and definitions.

Sexual and Gender-Based Harassment Policy
Harvard's Sexual and Gender-Based Harassment Policy applies to incidents before August 14, 2020.

Harvard University's policies prohibit behaviors such as sexual harassment, gender-based harassment, sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking. These behaviors may also be a violation of the law, and reporting to law enforcement and filing a formal complaint with Harvard are not mutually exclusive.
